Plain-language terms for learning, lessons, and digital products

Agreement and scope

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Blended Motivity LLC website and to services or products offered through it, including Private Lessons and BM Piano Foundations digital products. By using the website or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms and to any additional terms clearly presented during enrollment or checkout.

Website information

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. We work to keep it accurate and current, but content may be corrected, updated, or removed without notice. An inquiry, email, or scheduled introductory session does not by itself create an ongoing teacher-student relationship or guarantee enrollment.

Private Lessons

Lesson availability, format, tuition, billing, attendance, cancellation, rescheduling, make-up lessons, and related expectations are provided during enrollment or through the lesson-management system. Those accepted lesson policies govern the lesson relationship. If they conflict with general language on this website, the specific lesson policies control.

Digital products and access

BM Piano Foundations products are downloadable educational resources unless a product page clearly states otherwise. Successful checkout provides access to the files listed on the applicable product or checkout page. No physical product, subscription, live instruction, or course portal is included unless expressly stated.

Personal-use license

One purchaser may download purchased files to personal devices, keep reasonable personal backups, print copies for that purchaser’s own study, and annotate the files for personal learning.

Uses that are not permitted

You may not share digital files, private download links, printed copies, or audio with another person; upload them to a shared drive, website, social platform, course portal, or file-sharing service; resell, sublicense, redistribute, or use them as a giveaway; remove ownership notices; or present Blended Motivity curriculum or source files as another person’s work. Separate written permission is required for classroom, studio, church-team, group, or commercial use.

Orders, prices, and payment

Product prices and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payments and digital delivery may be processed by Payhip and its connected payment providers. Their terms and privacy notices also apply to information and transactions they process. We may correct pricing or product-description errors before fulfilling an order.

Digital-product support and remedies

Because digital files can be accessed immediately, purchases are generally final except where a refund or other remedy is required by law or the checkout provider’s rules. For a verified missing, corrupt, duplicated, inaccessible, or materially misdescribed file, Blended Motivity may restore access, replace or correct the file, provide reasonable use guidance, or issue an appropriate refund. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Educational results

Lessons and products are designed to support musical understanding and growth, but results depend on the learner’s starting point, equipment, time, participation, and practice. Blended Motivity does not promise mastery, professional performance, or a specific academic, career, or financial result.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website, brand elements, written content, graphics, lesson materials, downloads, audio, and curriculum are owned by or licensed to Blended Motivity LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred through website use, enrollment, purchase, or download.

Third-party services and links

The website may connect to services such as Payhip, Mailchimp, My Music Staff, payment providers, and social platforms. We do not control third-party websites, availability, security, content, or policies. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

Responsible use

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the site or its materials for unlawful purposes.

Availability and liability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue website content, products, or services when reasonably necessary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blended Motivity is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as our services, products, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to later use and transactions.
